Hudson is a city in northern Summit County, Ohio, a suburban community in the Akron metropolitan area.
We spent some time here in the Hudson Cemetery researching my genealogy.

Tombstone for Joel Gaylord, Solon, Ohio, USA, 1980.
Records show Capt. Joel Gaylord enlisted in 1777 and fought in the Revolutionary War.
He, his wife, and six children came to Hudson with the party David Hudson brought back with him in 1800.
Joel was elected as an Appraiser of Houses.
